Our ministry depends on faithful followers of Christ who volunteer each week to share the love of Christ with young children. Our volunteers range in age and experience. We offer training for our volunteers each year, including safety procedures and equipping them with skills to manage and guide children as developmentally appropriate. Even with training, we can encounter challenging situations that are difficult for volunteers who have not been professionally trained. We want Countryside Kids to be a place where all kids can come and encounter Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment that allows for learning and growth to take place. Our policy includes contacting parents/guardians to handle all discipline after an attempt has been made for re-direction in the classroom. The parent/guardian will have the opportunity to talk with their child and address the behavior so that they can return to the classroom. If a second call is needed, the parent/guardian will need to either remain with the child in the classroom that day or join their parent/guardian for the remainder of the time. Follow-up will happen as needed with the Director of Children's Ministries.
If necessary for my child to be taken for emergency treatment to McPherson Hospital, I hearby give permission to do so. I release Countryside Covenant Church, its agents, or volunteers from liability realizing that reasonable safety precautions will be taken.
Unless notified, in writing, to the contrary, Countryside Covenant Church has permisson to use my child's name, likeness, image, voice and/or appearance, which may be embodied in any photos, videos, digital images, and the like, taken or made during any Church activities. Please note that when we post pictures on social media or the website we do not post your child's name.
