Thank you for your interest in serving for this event. Please read through the guidelines before signing up and contact Amy if you have any questions!
We are so excited to offer this event to our community! The purpose of this event is to love and care for our community by providing a fun and safe place where kids can receive treats on Halloween. This year we are also hoping to share the Story of God with our community. You will sign up to decorate your trunk (or a classroom doorway in the building) with a specific story from the Bible. We will email you the link after you read through and agree to the guidelines.
Because we want to not only serve our community well, but we want to represent our church well, we do have some guidelines that we ask you to follow if you are going to host a trunk (we will call you a trunker)
- We ask that you be a regular attendee or member of Countryside Covenant Church. If you are not and would still like to help please contact Amy Brunk before registering.
- We ask that you please stick to a theme from the Bible. Contact Amy if you are needing ideas about how to decorate!
- All trunkers need to be registered by October 27th and your decor/theme needs to be approved by Amy!
- Please keep all decor family-friendly. Our trick or treaters are generally toddlers and preschoolers. So, please DO NOT use any scary items, like blood, bats, witches, spiders, monsters, gore, etc.
- Any cards or flyers that are passed out need to be approved Amy Brunk before October 27th. Any flyers that are political in nature cannot be distributed.
- Our Trunk or Treat Event will begin at 6:00 so all vehicles need to be ready to go by 5:45 p.m. and no later. If you arrive after 5:45 p.m. we will not be able to include your vehicle in the event.
- We do ask that you provide some candy, and we will provide you with extra candy that is donated! We hope to serve at least 700 trunk or treaters!
